Keaton’s Katering is a growing catering company dedicated to providing quality meals and excellent service to our customers. We are looking for a skilled and dependable Cook / Prep Cook to join our team and help prepare fresh, high-quality food daily.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items for daily sales to the public.
• Safely operate kitchen equipment, including grill and fryer.
• Follow proper food handling and safety standards.
• Maintain inventory rotation using FIFO (First In, First Out) practices.
• Assist with catering orders and events.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure quality and consistency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of recent cooking experience (required).
• Strong knife skills and ability to handle food prep efficiently.
• Experience using commercial kitchen equipment (grill, fryer, etc.).
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and FIFO practices.
• Some catering experience preferred; willing to train the right candidate.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
