Location: Twin Cities Metro, MN | Onsite, with travel between locations as needed

Reports to: General Manager

Scope: Potential to support two Walser locations

Compensation: $60,000–$80,000 base, plus performance bonus — On Target Earnings exceeding $100,000+

What You'll Do:

  • Own marketing strategy and customer engagement, with the potential to support two locations — build the plan, set priorities, and defend the decisions with data.
  • Manage marketing spend across channels and hold SEO, SEM, and digital partners accountable to performance, not just activity reports. You are the informed second set of eyes on what those partners deliver.
  • Work directly with manufacturer marketing teams on co-op programs, tier-two and tier-three campaigns, and brand compliance, bringing OEM resources to bear on local store priorities.
  • Own CRM strategy and execution — campaign build, segmentation, lifecycle communication — and measure what actually drives traffic and sales.
  • Pull performance data across website, leads, digital spend, and CRM, and translate it into clear recommendations store leadership can act on.
  • Partner directly with the General Manager and store leadership, participating in dealership meetings and building working relationships across Sales, Service, and Operations.
  • Ensure consistent brand execution across website, directory profiles, digital assets, in-store materials, and customer-facing communications.
  • Lead content and social direction, including planning cadence, publishing, and content shoots (video/photo/reels).
  • Support and lead dealership events, sponsorships, and local brand activations, including logistics, communication planning, and post-event follow-up.
  • Own operational audits of lead routing, phone tracking, and listings/data integrity, and drive fixes in partnership with store teams and vendors.
  • Provide monthly reporting on performance, what worked and what didn't, and recommended adjustments.
  • Uphold Walser's Core Values: Do The Right Thing, Lead By Example, Display Positive Energy, Be Open Minded.

There is potential for this role to grow a direct report supporting social and content as the stores scale.

What You Bring:

  • 4–6 years in marketing with meaningful ownership of strategy or budget. Dealership, automotive, retail, or multi-location experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage agency or vendor partners and evaluate their performance critically.
  • Hands-on CRM experience including campaign build, segmentation, and reporting.
  • Comfort with performance data — you can build the analysis yourself and explain it to a GM in plain language.
  • Working knowledge of digital channels (SEM, SEO, paid social, display) sufficient to hold experts accountable.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the presence to present to and push back with senior leadership.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field, or equivalent hands-on marketing experience.
  • Preferred: OEM co-op program experience, prior people leadership, video/photo content direction.
