Job Summary: The Neurosurgical Program Manager oversees nurse navigators within the Neurosurgery service line. Responsible for program growth and development and streamlining processes to improve patient experience. Designs and implements data collection systems and processes. The program manager interfaces with inpatient and outpatient care teams and collaborates across a wide variety of patient services to ensure continuity of care and improve patient access and retention. 


Qualifications


Education:

Master’s degree in nursing

Experience:

5 years nursing experience 

Experience within neurosurgery. Experience in a multi-specialty environment. 

Licensure, Certification, Registration:

·         Registered Nurse, State of CT

·         Certified BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA)

Language Skills:

Must be able to effectively communicate information in English.

Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements:

·         Ability to work effectively with other departments.

·         Computer literate and database managing experience

·         Ability to manage, organize, prioritize and delegate multiple responsibilities

·         Ability to work independently

·         Strong interpersonal skills
