Tool Truck Driver / Route Sales Representative

Earning Potential: $75,000 – $85,000+ Annually

5+ Years of Experience in Outside Sales and/or the Automotive Industry Required

A locally-owned & fast-growing NAPA Auto Parts store is looking for a dependable, self-starting professional to join our team in a newly created Tool Truck Driver / Route Sales role. This position combines driving, sales, customer relationships, inventory management, and a business-ownership mindset into a rewarding, high-earning opportunity.

Schedule & Work Environment:

Monday – Friday with early mornings and occasional weekends for events or trade shows. This is a physically active role involving frequent movement in and out of the truck.

What You’ll Do:

• Operate a Class 6 – 7 (medium duty) 20’+ mobile tool truck on established routes
• Call on auto repair shops, dealerships, and garages
• Demonstrate new tools and provide expert guidance to mechanics
• Manage and organize high-value truck inventory
• Handle sales transactions, customer credit, and payment collection
• Process tool warranties and repairs
• Maintain a clean and professional truck appearance
• Complete daily bookkeeping and invoicing
• Create flyers, promotions, and sales specials
• Maintain a professional social media presence

 
What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of experience in outside sales and/or the automotive industry
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Strong knowledge of automotive tools and equipment
• Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills
• Experience with inventory, bookkeeping, and cash handling
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more as required
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
